Maxforce Fire Ant Granular bait is another fine product in the Maxforce line. Other Maxforce products include Maxforce Carpenter Ant gel bait, Maxforce gel roach bait, Maxforce ant bait stations and Maxforce granular ant bait.
Sprinkle a little bait around each mound. Do not put the bait on the mound or disturb the mound. Treat new mounds as they appear. After July 1 drenching the mounds with Cypermethrin will work much better than using any type of bait. Baits do not work well when the weather is hot and dry.
One percent Hyrdamethylnon on a corn grit base makes this bait highly attractive to fire ants and makes it less expensive to use than other fire ant baits.
